The large brown mass tilted in the early morning air, leaving several people clinging to his back.
"Woo!" he glided at a slant carelessly.
      "Please... don't..." Prism begged quietly.
"Ah, I won't let any of you fall!" he laughed.
"But to people who can't fly it's very nerve racking..." he attempted to explain.
"Oh, be that way." He snorted as he leveled out.
"How much further?" Bentora shouted from behind.
"We're almost there. I can drop you off now!" he bellowed. Letting loose a huge breath they felt the air whistle against them as he dropped abruptly out of the sky. Everyone clinged tightly to the dragon's back as he rounded huge circles. Before they knew it he completely stopped in the air and nearly threw them off. Flapping one last time he hovered to the grass.
The group stumbled off the wild ride gratefully.
"Ephesus should be that way." the dragon pointed his snout in a seemingly random direction.
"Thank you. Thank you very much." Prism subtly checked his own pulse.
With a nod the dragon leapt into the air, using his strong wings to keep him afloat as he carried himself away.
"Alright then. To Ephesus." Prism shrugged.
"I think we should check which direction we're going..." Blake skeptically responded.
"How? Besides, Ferris is used to flying, I'm sure he has a keen sense of direction." Prism answered.
"Well, we can always ask that guy." Blake pointed to a traveler in the distance. He was riding a horse, with a few packs of luggage strapped to either side. From here they could tell he wore bright white robes.
"I guess it couldn't hurt." Prism sighed. They waved the traveler over from where they stood, and he waved back. Emeryl shied away, stepping behind Prism.
Turning, the traveler approached them at a slow trot. It became apparent he was an elf, much older than any of them. Honey colored hair poured down around his face and ended an inch above his collar. He had kind green eyes, and his fingers tinkered with a circular pendant featuring a golden cross embedded in the middle as he approached.
Smiling politely he stopped the chestnut horse in front of them, "May I help you?"
"Yes, do you know which way Ephesus is?" Prism queried.
"Oh, over there." He pointed the same way Ferris did.
"Told you." Prism glared at Blake. Without a word Blake shoved the wizard. Emeryl jumped back as the shocked traveler stared at him.
      "Emeryl?!" he dismounted instantly.
"Dad." Emeryl waved shyly. The man embraced Emeryl, nearly lifting him off his feet.
"I was so worried! Your mother and I just got word that you ran away yesterday!" he held Emeryl by the shoulders.
      "Dad...?" Eric hesitantly repeated.
"Ran away? No, he's been traveling with us for the past few weeks." Prism corrected him.
"I..." Emeryl sighed, "I didn't ask permission to go with you to Donde."
"Emeryl! Why not?" Prism asked in shock.
"I was suppose to be praying in my cell..." he admitted timidly.
"I'm just glad you're safe." His father interrupted, "We were so worried about you."
"Well... umm, dad, these are my friends. Prism, Eric, Bentora, Leiko and Blake. And this is my pet, Spidey." He pointed to the black mass curled on the end of his staff.
"Pleased to meet you all." He bowed lightly, "I am Hori Tekutsu. Thank you for looking after my son."
"The pleasure is all mine." Prism glanced at Emeryl warily.
