"Prism, that's not fair." Eric groaned.
"What's not fair? I just want to know how you guys plan on handling this before we charge in tomorrow." He replied.
"Both of you, get out of our room!" Bentora hurled a pillow that smacked Prism in the back of the head. Leiko sat up on her bed, rubbing her tired eyes.
"I came in here 'cause everyone else was in here." Eric shrugged.
The door creaked open and an elven face peeked in.
"What's going on?" Emeryl curiously stepped in, closing the door behind him.
"Prism was trying to get Leiko to tell him what the plan was." Bentora lay back on the bed.
"But, she doesn't know." Emeryl paused.
"Yes... I figured that out," Prism sighed, "It's not fair that you're all leaving me out."
"Prism..." Emeryl sighed softly. Everyone stayed silent as Emeryl knelt beside the half elf.
"Prism," Emeryl repeated, folding his hands in his lap, "I know you don't like this. But we can't just say you don't have to worry have about us. We have to show you too. We need to use our own brains and think for ourselves, we can't depend on you forever. We already know you can handle it, we want to know if we can."
"I know, I, just don't want you all to end up like..." he trailed off, "At least you're making sense. Everyone else went crazy."
"Prism, you need some time to yourself. Why don't you try to get some sleep?" Emeryl offered.
"Yeah, in your room!" Bentora yipped.
"Ok, I'm going. But I doubt it will be a peaceful sleep..." Prism climbed to his feet.
"You too!" Bentora shoved Eric off the side of the bed.
With a quick look over each shoulder Prism turned to Emeryl, "Where's Blake?"
"Blake?" Emeryl echoed, "He promised to look over our plans."
Feeling his heart, Prism drooped, "Just the man I want my life to depend on..."
