"You wake him up." Prism brushed his hands through his hair.
"Why me? I don't want to!" Eric whined.
"Shut up, I will." Blake sighed, moving to the bed. Reaching under the mattress he found the edge of the bed covers. With a wicked grin he yanked them out, throwing Emeryl and Leiko off the bed.
"Ow!" Emeryl shouted as Leiko fell on top of him and the blanket floated down. Leiko scrambled out of the mess much to the crushed Emeryl's dismay.
"Ow! Ow! Leiko!" he shielded his face, then pondered for a moment, "What are you doing in here? Aren't you suppose to be in the other room?"
"I had a bad dream!" Leiko defensively sputtered.
"I had a good dream last night..." Eric threw two packs over both his shoulders, carrying his and Prism's equipment, "Alan was there, and I told him all about what was happening, but, I really can't remember much after that."
Emeryl sat up, rubbing his eyes and yawning largely. From above a silver strand stretched as the black spider hover to the fluffy brown hair and made its nest. Bentora peeked in from the other room before entering. Blake tossed the staff to Emeryl, who missed and rubbed the new bruise on his head.
"Here, you carry the rope, I'll carry the food." Prism handed the hemp rope to Bentora. Spotting Blake's brown robes on the ground she swooped them up and slid into them, covering her face.
"What's that for? Why does everyone keep taking my robes?" Blake grumbled.
"Haven't you noticed everyone staring at us?" she asked.
"If they're bored enough that I'm the most exciting thing for them to look at or talk about then let them, I could care less." He played with the tear in his sleeve.
"Let's not discuss this. We have to get going." Prism interrupted them. Leiko fastened her new one ball mace into her belt.
"I hope Alans ok." Eric tapped the hilt of his sword.
"He should be fine. Let's go." Prism held the door open.
